i feel bad for future you

gum and soda don't really harm you significantly unless you A: overhydrate or B: eat a stuff ton of gum in one sitting

or if you plug your throat, pour soda into your mouth, and gorilla glue your lips shut

i have marching bands in my teeth

i have marches in my teeth

I have them and they are pretty cancerous tbh. I need to prob wear them but I have skipped them on purpose to be honest.

I used to have them too, I still find tiny rubberbands in the corners of my house :(

also dont yawn with them in or you will get hit in the mouth when they snap

i have rubberbands that im supposed to wear because my jaw is misaligned and it hurts so bad, that a lot of the times ill wake up and just pull them out and then take an advil and then sleep

wut
I don't have braces yet
this is a thing to prepare for the thing that prepares for the braces, the bands stay there until they take them out. My teeth are like, REALLY close together apparently, so they have to do this before they put in the expander thing that makes my mouth bigger or something. it hurts because it's forcing my teeth apart unnaturally.

Do they happen to look like this?

Well the rubber bands it have are like the kind that you put around and hang from the top and bottom. Idk if op has that kind or ones just around the teeth like pic above

HA

try wisdom teeth removal

liquid diet for the first few days, stuff getting stuck in your gums, stitches that are a pain in the ass because you can't lick the inside of your mouth for a few weeks, oh and also you run the risk of mass bleeding if you eat anything sharp or hard

i hope you feel better soon
