I can help on steam later when I come back Sunday if needed. But I'd start by cleaning up that model a little by decreasing the poly count. Looks high-def to me

model looks really nice, but yeah it seems to have a high poly count which doesn't fit Blockland and will cause fps issues with lots of them

you probably should start with learning to model :P

importing models from other games/sources is highly, highly unadvisable since the face and vertex count on such models are probably sky high and would either not export, look bad ingame, or crash the second an instance of the model is created ingame. blocklands lack of reflectivity value adjustment on materials means that everything you make will always look like a hard, shiny model, making the look of the model at first will not match up with the model's look ingame

long story short: model your own things, not import them from elsewhere, or else it will look like stuff.

Whats the recomended poly count then?

dont go over 4-5k triangles, i guess. this is an extreme number: most bricks never make it out of the 500 tri range, even for complicated looking bricks

though unless you're doing an incredibly complicated model and as long as you dont spam bevel or details, you shouldn't ever go above 3k. even my pretty complicated hunter model is only 2k tris atm

The model is 2k polygons

Honestly its no so much about the poly count, Than how much it looks, There can't be an estimate because there's diffrent sized models just aslong as it fits the style of blockland, althought not to just go ape stuff crazy and have loop cuts n stuff every where, Because it will increase lag, But odds are if you make it look like a blockland model it will turn out with a decent poly count, Speaking from experience

ill just do a low poly model then like a pickup truck.
