Author Topic: Tech Question: New Graphics Card  (Read 1428 times)

my 750 Ti was a great card, still have it but it ran poorly in modern games on higher settings. it had solid performance for it's price range though, and it lasted me for a good few years before i upgraded to a 970

I've seen plenty of videos showing great performance on modern games, did you had enough memory or a good CPU?

my cpu was a little outdated, but don't get me wrong-- it can run great on modern games but just not the maximum graphics on some. which is fine, it's still a great card :p

Oh that's a relief thanks lol

I personally use a GTX 1060, however it doesn't like blockland for whatever reason. Even without the not optimized soft shaders, the FPS tends to go down on higher brickcounts even with no shaders enabled at all. I made a thread and everyone told me to just not use soft shaders, which I stopped using, but this kind of stuff still tends to occur.

I've lived with a EVGA Geforce 750ti
Served me well

I noticed this. I get like 20fps on ultra shadows

How much did it cost? I know prices are a bit... different in Brazil...

In my currency it was 650 reais which in the US prices logic could be considered to be 150 dollars, but for some reason the gtx 960 model was 900 reais so I coudn't afford it.

That is pretty weird, it should had a better perfomance overall
