My boot order is all forgeted up

I have an MSI board and run Debian Linux. Recently, after accidentally unplugging my computer while it was on, the boot order got forgeted up. See, I have two drives: an HDD, where the OS is installed, and an SSD. Even though my SSD is last in the boot order (after all the UEFI crap), the board still boots to it. The HDD is not an option in the boot order. However, when I manually pick a boot location, the HDD does appear, and choosing it works completely fine.

Could anyone who knows more about this than I do help me out?

well, i've tried loading the default preset, didn't help

Try power cycling your computer, see if you can get it to re-generate the Master Boot Record. If you can get it to regenerate or refresh the MBR then you should be good, if not then try disconnecting the HDD that it isn't booting from and connecting it to a SATA port you've never used before; it should treat it as a different device and potentially bypass whatever is causing the issue.

As always, I can't guarantee that these solutions will work or even do anything at all, but I can assure you that there's no harm whatsoever in trying them either way.
