Computer loving up while playing EU4

This has happened once or twice before in the past randomly but this time it's happened twice within the hour. I was playing EU4 and my computer screen cut to this

First the video cuts to that, then my audio completely stops and I'm forced to reboot my computer. I can't even just click the reboot button, I have to turn the PSU on and off so it boots up again

So I go back to playing and it loving happened again, this time with a different colour.

This has happened before randomly, never with EU4 though. What the forget is wrong with my computer???

this used to happen with a radeon card i had, and the issue would persist no matter what computer it was in

Well first the visuals, then the audio would cut out. So safe to say both?

Yeah mines a Gigabytge Radeon HD 7950. The thing is EU4 isn't a GPU intense game anyway.

Oh this happened with my last card. I had to buy a new one. Pretty much your GPU is forgeted now. Its lived its life out.
