So why is there no edit function in Drama?

Couldn't Badspot just add in some sort of "Edit History" button so you can still see the original statements someone made before they tried to cover it up?

I don't remember the actual events leading up to the removal and Badspot didn't really say anything regarding it(iirc). Some other users have better explanations, though.
