yes, everyone gets it. a brick with fx or any transparent paint will disappear when seen through another transparent brick. helmet visors disappear, too
it's kind of annoying, but I guess sometimes convenient too (people like to use it for things like one-way windows) so idk

Also yes, this glitch is common, everyone has this issue.
FX doesn't mix well with transparency.
