Colorblindness? (Flashlight required.)
Can confirm it works somewhat. Cannot confirm whether the comments are paranoid about permanent eye damage. Try at your own risk. It's #27 in trending so if it's a prank to make people hurt themselves, YT moderators either aren't awake or are currently researching to confirm/deny whether it's dangerous. Or don't care.
Anyone got anything similar?

Where's the video that tricks your eyes into to not being colourblind permanently?

It's like when you look at a light for too long and you get a spot in your vision from it, except with your whole eye, or something. It's like being partially colorblind.
Or something. IDK but it isn't permanent, it seems to have gone away already for me.
Also, I'm partially colorblind, by the way, without weird things.

its just burn in, don't do this it will burn out your retinas

you should always listen to what the internet tells you to do, especially if it means you shining a bright light directly into your retina

i might aswell point a telescope at the sun while i'm at it too! and even drink a cup of windex; the internet said it'd clean my insides!

seriously if anyone is dumb enough to believe this stuff, they won't live very long.

Shhh!

We're cleansing them.

Pretty sure my phone's flashlight isn't deadly. It's just a bit of eye strain, it's not gonna kill you. Or me.

did I mention this is #27 in trending IIRC

also, the video does say "do this at your own risk" :P

if u want nice pearly white teeth apply bleach to your toothbrush before adding the cement

oh also
directly into your retina
so if I shine a flashlight on a frog through a sheet of paper, that's shining directly on the frog?

is this the eye version of 'mix ammonia and bleach to make crystals'?

is it really worth being temporarily colorblind when there's a chance you'll permanently ruin your eyes
bad idea

??? so it's basically just the equivalent of solely red light for a few mins right? so your red-sensitive cones get tired and the rest work normally?

how is this harmful if you're careful? its effects are temporary, and it's not like you're forcing super bright white light into them

Because you're shining a bright light in to your eye. Just because it's behind a 'filter' doesn't make it better.
Cigarettes use filters, and well...

An actual colorblind here. (Protanomaly)

I can assure you this stuff is not accurate.
