Lighting problems - Vista?

I have vista, and I was playing zombies on pitch black, and all of the bricks were like black and still visible. But on my freinds pc, His lighting was actually realisticly dark, i couldn't see all of the studs on the legos.

omg, no modify, well does anyone know what settings i could change so If its dark, I cant see the bricks?

You see all the lines on the bricks?

You need to check Vertex Lighting in the Advanced options then.

If you mean studs, yes. and ive tried vertex lighting
