Author Topic: Context behind the Hack  (Read 821 times)

I got hacked and my old BLF got banned so this is my new one. I'd like to explain what happened and what this incident molded me into. Zapk and Honno, both frequent problem users, found a loophole in the disposable email service 'mailinator' and they used a Forgot Password and got onto my BLF. The dox is not real. The phone number is not real, so don't try. They also used CC's to keylog? i guess to get your passwords, so if  you received a pm from me yesterday if you haven't already, change your password. I learned from this that I need to be more responsible and actually make an email. I appreciate all of the support and I hope you guys understand.

What I want to know is how they managed to have a keylogger, I thought those things had to be installed

Boi, what are you doing with your life?

There were no keyloggers as far as I know.
Basically the user accounts that were hijacked used a temporary email service.
Zapk had sent a message to a hand full of people, including himself and had Notify PM's via email enabled.
If this is enabled you can see all of the emails of the accounts that it were sent, if they too had it enabled.
With that you can get access to those temporary email's (for example mailinator) and then just reset the password.
