Current Steam version?

So I haven't played Blockland in probably three or four years, but it looks like there's some alright stuff going on, so I'm gonna try it out again, but the Steam entry shows the last update post as December of 2015.
Is that just a lack of newsposts on the Steam page, or is the Steam version no longer up to date?
