Need a decent all-around computer

my hand-me-down macbook is starting to close the curtains on me. time for a new laptop.

budget: Under $400 USD
i dont need any flashy graphics or stuff like that. i need it for music production/work, not video games.
Speed and Disk Space are the two biggest must-haves

someone find me a good one. preferrably pre-built since i'm stupid and can't build a computer on my own

There are 5 year olds that have build PCs, it's like a lego set. I'm sure you could do it.

Do you absolutely require a macbook or can you go with a non-mac laptop, because if so then you can get a lot more bang for your buck

If your really insistent on bring incapable of building a computer then cyberpower will do it for you.

As for speed you won't be getting anything that works fast for 400 with good disk space.

I mean, I don't know how to measure speed of computers, but one that doesn't take 10 seconds to click on somethng. I dont need a supercomputer, just something that has okay speeds.

For disk space I need something like 250 Gigabytes of space for programs and instrument DLLs.
