Otaku is a Japanese word meaning nerd or geek. It can be applied to computer nerds, manga and anime nerds (most prominent), and many more.
Weeaboo, on the other hand, is a term that refers specifically to non-Japanese people who shun their own culture and wish they were Japanese, typically due to anime.
