There are also erasable pens as well
the ink on those tends to suck and the erasers they require also tend to be really grating on the paper

fountain pens are automatically best but they are admittedly not as convenient as some other pens
also pens > pencils in general; only reason to use a pencil ever is cause you might need to erase something. but if you dont forget up you wont need to erase anything sooooo

how else can you just bust out fancy script with a flex nib??

what's your favorite fountain pen? my current is the TWSBI Eco

this is because they are essentially soft ballpoint ink pens with a sand-eraser on the back of the pen, which literally picks layers of paper off the sheet

Those Pilot G2 gell ink pens, both normal tip and the thin tip

holy forget they're amazing pens

im a shill and appreciate the lamy stainless steel kinds. i don't really ho too deep into browsing pens though.

i really want more lever fill pens as those i find really cool and stuff. also those pens that are essentially one big converter

I like drafting pencils over mechanical since they're more secure and great for rulers, and I only use felt tip pens since ballpoint pens annoy me.

papermate clearpoint 0.5 mechanical pencils

my other favorite thing to write with is pilot g2 07 pens

Ballpoint and fountain pens are the only good options

lamy's are cool but their nibs are really stiff to me

lever fill pens are interesting but ridiculously expensive :(

ah like eyedroppers? yeah those are neat but a pain to put together and work with
