The only major benefit is that it can use more ram
If my chrome goes over 4Gb's of memory usage there probably is a problem
It would be dumb to not take advantage of 64-bit memory, there's no downside to using it. It doesn't matter if you don't personally take advantage of it, there are legitimate instances where it could be needed.
