i cant get past the level where there's a giant black crystal in the middle and you have to control 3 armies, one below, one on the right and another on the left

i do fine but when i'm playing on the right side of the map their soldiers always beat me to the silos so i end up losing the game. i only last like 10 turns

Hard mode was quite the challenge but I pushed through, good luck. I really liked using Andy and Hawke if I can recall correctly.

the only hard part of hard mode was the crystal level that phantos mentioned because in hard mode you could use op characters on every level

spend a dozen days as eagle + sami and then go in for the instant hq yoink

or go kanbei on everything ever

that stuff always has me forgeted up

that stuff is easy
i did it with hawke and lash on the blue army
just get a rocket to a place where they can attack it and bingo you got a success
as for the silos aim for them first
if the enemy touches them, game over
colin and sasha are good for the third army since they can spam units to guard the 3 critical silos from the nearby enemy
the cos on the orange army must have an apc boost so their transport copters can get to the silos in there quickly without a stupid transport copter taking an infantry there

as for the cannon, use a blue rockets to take care of it
