Port forwarding on an ASUS router?

Does anybody know how to port forward on an ASUS router specifically for Blockland? I've been looking up tutorials, but I seem to be doing something wrong. Could somebody tell me how to do it step by step? Thanks in advance.

Does your cable go directly from the modem to the router, or do you have something like an ooma box between the modem and the router?

Is the "Local IP" Setting set to YOUR ip? eg. not 192.168.1.100, but YOUR ip.
Are you port forwarding the right port? (28000)
