Author Topic: Best Power Supply Brand?  (Read 2045 times)

which are? price isn't exclusive to a certain brand, modularity still encompasses a lot of brands and aesthetics are pretty much ignored with PSU's as far as I know. I can understand like, consumer loyalty for things like GPU's and CPU's but what defines a psu by brand?
Capacitor quality, voltage regulation, how quality the power it feeds, etc.

oh yea? i mine, melt, and mold my own steel and copper for my computer
i create atoms to make my materials. much more efficient than wasting your time mining

corsair and EVGA are both really good brands and i'd suggest either one

i may have accidentally reset the poll count

The quality of materials in the PSU's circuitry itself, capacitors, durability / longevity, how hot or cool it runs, if it's safe from power surges or not, how much it draws from the wall, the fan quality itself, etc etc

Corsair is generally a pretty safe bet. Make sure the PSU is rated to the power your computer needs.

I had a Corsair PSU until it died from constant power outages. Some loving bird hit a telephone wire near me and anytime a small breeze hit it the power went out. Still recommend Corsair though.

with recent innovations i create quarks from nothing and morph them together into atoms to have a subatomically efficient power supply
