Author Topic: My aunt just lost a baby.  (Read 2113 times)

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't get why miscarriages are so upsetting to people other than the would-be mother. And even then, I'd only be upset because I carried that motherforgeter for some amount of months and went through the torture that is pregnancy for nothing. I mean, it's not like you knew the kid. You don't have memories with the thing that take you way back. You've literally never even met it, so I just don't really understand the big deal. For the mother (and possibly father) it can be traumatic because you were anticipating having a baby and all of a sudden you're not gonna, but it's not like you can't try again. Plus, trust me; you didn't want that baby anyway. The body miscarries for a reason.
