idk for the roughly 6 years that we've had internet through AT&T, my internet connection has always been very consistent in speed and i don't think i've ever experienced an outage. the only problems i've ever had were with modems dying and someone somehow throttling us to 1 kb/s via some modem setting which i fixed in a few minutes
