lol what is so special about your le special fancy white ones

tfw you spend money on controllers that u already own because u like the look better and want to kit out your new switch console, even if controllers are already uncomfortably expensive,
then one of them breaks early on and you dont know whats going on so you go on a forum to ask and then loving INH posts "lol what is so special about your le special fancy white ones"

Thank you! I thought it was pretty obvious. Just really disappointed. It's pretty clear why I'm upset, everyone just seems to blame me, which is fine i guess.

li-ion batteries won't overcharge unless there's a problem with the battery
it seems like with how nintendo products have their batteries set up they're more likely to experience overcharge than normal. I've had my wiimotes die from sitting too long in the charger port back when the Wii was a thing.

I'm not blaming you I'm blaming the manufacturer of your custom joycons

Just use the default joycons lol what is so special about your le special fancy white ones

"whats wrong with having nice things"

dude asks how to fix something he has and everyone turns into a huge bitch about it, jeez

wiimotes weren't made for rechargeable batteries though. you can use rechargeable AAs in them, but rechargeable batteries eventually grow weak and die.

figured this was relevant but can transparent electronics make a comeback sometime

this tbh, i stopped trying to recharge it after the first few attempts---it's much easier to just replace the batteries

holy stuff your right i literally had the same thing happened to my old wiimotes now that I think about it, it really annoys me.

also, I ordered a tri wing screwdriver, its coming in two days, I really loving hope I can easily switch out the batteries, if it doesn't work then what would even be causing the issue? Im just so praying to god this easy battery transplant will fix it. If I do successfully switch joycon batteries, I'm gonna buy the neon yellow joycons since  my grey joycons will pretty much be considered worthless.

why not just send them in for warranty?

I just successfully transplanted the battery! Im so happy! It's working fine, and I'm now able to use them wirelessly, use them in a grip, etc. AGHHH YES, MY SWITCH IS BACK TO BEING entrepreneur ED OUT!!!! Thank you guys for the help!
