I fixed my Picklehaube issue and moved onto a different prokect, but this happened. I suppose this is a issue with layers?
Edit: It appears also to obscure my first person camera.

bump, need this issue fixed, I tried disabling transparency, and putting in the materials attached with the addon.

The current problem is inverted faces. Select all the faces in edit mode, and click "Recalculate" in the toolbox. Make sure the Shading/UVs tab is selected.
If the problems are not resolved, try using Flip Direction.

Or you could select all faces and press "Ctrl-F" then "Recalculate Normals"
Usually you can tell when faces are flipped from the color of the face, usually a flipped face appears darker then the rest
