monitor isnt turning on when computer is on

basically i turn my monitor on and i get no signal
waving my mouse doesnt work
keyboard inputs dont work
unplugging and replugging doesnt work
i left my computer running while i was asleep with the monitor off
no pins damaged
it turns on just fine when i reboot the computer
help?

you made sure your input settings are reflecting your current configuration?

does the monitor at least turn on? (like the light AND the actual screen light up)

sounds like you might need to swap the gpu to another PCIe slot or just try another VGA, DVI, HDMI cable (whatever one you use)

if you can, try booting the PC up in safe mode and see if that works too.

2 yes the monitor atleast turns on, it shows the viewsonic logo and switches to no signal
3 no gpu, its integrated

your monitor should have a button that can change the input setting from VGA to DVI. if that doesn't fix it, the intergrated GPU might be borked. is this a laptop you're hooking up to a monitor?

no, this is a desktop to a monitor, also now that you say it, i might try that
