this aspect of his argument is what i take issue to, professionalism is obviously important and quantifiable but your original point is that professionalism = artistry. And i feel like that gives the market complete sway over art, and that to me is foolish because the market is a small, insignificant human creation that morphs at the drop of a hat and the art market of 2018 will not matter in a hundred years.
