Well you could have unzipped it wrong, it could have a dodgy terrain you haven't installed, it could rely on a mod you don't have. There's a whole host of things that could be going wrong here, could ya, narrow it down a bit? Console log maybe.

to fix invaled packet 12 you need to go on to a server that has the same map as the one that you are trying to get to work then let the server load fully then you can try to load that map again on single player or online then it should work.
