Author Topic: Maple Story Install  (Read 2431 times)

Decided to try and play Maple Story because I'm bored, but a problem occurred.
Maple Story requires 1.9 gigs of temporary space on drive C to start the installation, and then an additional 2 gigs to continue it. Problem is, I only have 3 gigs of free space on C and do not intend to delete anything else as it is all necessary.
I was wondering if there is a way around this or to have Maple Story use temporary space on other drives.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Methinks Maple Story fails?

I'd rather sand a block of wood than grindgrindgrindgrind on MS.

Try and delete other mmos that you don't play anymore

Get a new hard drive and try again

There is absolutely nothing that I can delete on C.

Get a new hard drive and try again
I think I'll pass.

Anyway the game is terrible

If you play on a Private server it's not as much fail, But it gets old very fast.

Will you get banned for joining a private server?

How2get banned when you aren't on the official server to be banned from?

Also, I learned that its anti-cheat software is horrible. I noticed that my old computer got a bit slower after I installed MapleStory, and it was because of GameGuard.

GameGuard also conflicts with Windows Vista, causing the OS to be recognized by Microsoft as not genuine. This has been fixed with a patch, but many games have not applied this patch yet.

Well, I guess I'm not going to play any of the games that uses it, then.
