Author Topic: People can't connect to my server anymore :S  (Read 1078 times)

Hey

I'm the creator of "Limpfittz Presents: Medival City (under construction)"

When I create a server, people come instantly, it's a very popular server - But after I reinstalled the game, people wont show up :S I've had the game up now for 2 hours, and NO one have connected. This is very very wierd - Do anyone know if this is a common problem? What should I do to fix it? =(

PS: All my Server Options are Default. And yes, the internet marker is checked.

thx ! / Limpfittz

It seems when you reinstall, you have to re-add Blockland to your firewalls exception's list. Also remember to port forward.

Isn't there any other way, like... reinstalling the game again >_< !?!+10

Dude, I told you how, why don't you listen to me.

what the F's your problem ? yeah i saw what you wrote - i'm not stupid >_<

There must be some other way to deal with this - the company that delivers internet to my home have a wierd way to do everything on , I can't connect to the default ip in IE, and i can't connect on my standard gateway either.. I ran in to a wall on step no.1 .... -_-'

so my Blockland's f***ed up now ?...

Check your firewall.
Check your ports if you have a router.

you will have to be more detailed about what I should do T_T

Really, I just paid $20 for a game, that forgets up after i re-installed it ? That's amazingly bad !?1 o.o
I tried to force my default gateway, subnet mask and IP adress manually but nothing works..

come on, a game shouldn't just quit after a re-install... :S

Port forwarding is a standard procedure with any online game where server's are hosted off of your computer, it's not just Blockland.

Like Mega said, check your firewall settings. Also make sure you computer's LAN IP didn't change.

okey, i'm a gamer, I've played most games in my days - and i've never encountered a game before, that need this.. but okey.. I guess I just have to live with it.. I send my internet distributor an email yesterday asking how to do, if I don't understand then, I'll have to call them.. I would probably have no problems at all forwarding my ports if I had a normal router / internet distributor
