Author Topic: Security Keypad  (Read 1157 times)

A few other people showed off their security keypad systems. I don't think any of them put the time or the thought that I did. I wanted mine to not only be functional, but user friendly and have the ability to simply change the password using print bricks. I tried to make it handicap proof... basically people pressing keys all over the place. It has a master reset at the back just in case.

I'm not going to post the save, I rather post once I have the game again, mainly to show it off in person first. I can't show a video of it in action, no Fraps, so you'll have to take my word on it.

Fooly made one of these in my house, it made door blockades and the floor kill people when they step on it, anyways, Nice.

save please i need to study this

Seems awfully complicated when, with use of some events I've been working on, you could do it in a few minutes fairly easily.

Well, I had no way of checking for equality. So I got creative, used a similar style you would with a circuit board, and decremented counters until they both flagged on an underflow at the same time.

That being said, there are a few issues with it. I noticed while playing around that under certain circumstances you can get a right and wrong at the same time. There is just too much stuff to go through to fix it now, so it will probably be left with bugs.

If someone could make events where you could easily check if one print brick was equal to the other this would have been so much easier.

I have.

Come to mah serber.

I would, but I need to purchase a new key. Mine was one of the 10 that got deactivated during that whole problem back in drama.

cam you please post a save for me
