Author Topic: Wii Blockland?  (Read 5447 times)

Copyright infringement? You mean they sued themselves for using a design based off their own controller?

Yeah if BL was for the Wii, all the little kids would buy it and Badspot would be rich.

Kinda pointless to play on your computer with a wiimote.

If he ported Blockland to the Wii, he could distribute it through WiiWare, which would cost him a lot less than putting it on disks.
The control scheme could easily be ported to the WiiMote + Nunchuck:

And you still have 2 extra buttons (For menus and such).

And if that didn't work, the Wii, along with the 360 and PS3, has USB ports you could use to hook up a keyboard and mouse.

I admit the lack addon system would be very hard to make the game sucessful, but using the harddrives on the 360, SD Card on the Wii, and Memory Card on the PS3, you might be able to over come that.

Just some thoughts...
Hard Drives are in all PS3s.

Badspot would have to talk with Garage Games.  So far, I have only heard of the Torque Game Engine on Xbox 360.

Blockland = Simple WiiWare moneymaker.

shut up freaks stop saying it not possible it may be possible if the creater got the $$$ and the brains to do it its possible if he have brains and $$$

Don't even ask for Achievements. There are absolutely NO achievements possible in Blockland except for completing the tutorial.

Torque Wii or "Twii", although you need to be a licensed Nintendo developer as well.

A copyright for the joystick was filed by a texas company in the 90s. Both the Gamecube and Wiimote Classic Control use that joystick. Nintendo isn't allowed to produce/sell those either of those controllers. Now don't quote me on this, I may have some of the facts wrong, but I saw it on the news a couple of days ago.

Thx.
