Author Topic: Port Forwarding... Two ports... Should I use...  (Read 2978 times)

192.168.1.136 should work.
I have the same model.
??

sure you can make it anything you want. but defaulted is usually 1 or 100, or whatever the router GAVE him for one already.

Well I have 192.168.1.100-150 but idk if im supposed to do 192.168.1.1 (What I type in to get to the login) or 192.168.1.100 (Obiously my ip start)

You're supposed to set a static IP (see Badspot's portforwarding guide) and then use that one

K I'lltake a look at it  :cookie:. :cookie:

Also the only difference between 28030 and 28032 is if you actually can support a server full of people, which very few people can.  Though 28032 is technically correct for the game, because you use one port for people pinging and attempting to join the server (28000), and use 32 ports for one per client. (28001-28032)

Ah I've never thought about that, yet it seems so obvious and makes perfect sense.
I don't get many people in my server anyways, not to mention my max players is set to 8.
Although, with people using IGSO (or console), some max players go higher than 32, thus needing more ports.

I might have fixed it! =D

WOOT!! IT WORKED!! =D Thanks guys! ;)

Unless you have a wondrous upload speed, and no clients that have a slower internet, it is unlikely that you would ever go this high.
