I'm not sure if you've heard of, or watched this movie, but I just needed to rant about it.
This movie doesn't even deserve to be called a horror or thriller. If there was a genre for "Crappy remake for a crappy remake for a crappy remake for a generic hack-and-slash film", then that's where it would go. I could literally predict everything that was going to happen. Here's how the story goes:
Man kills family of some blond teen girl, in which the girl survives.
Man goes to jail in a high security prison.
Man escapes the high security prison through a vent in his room...
Girl goes to prom with friends and man follows.
<Pointless drama between teens>
Man kills some teens.
<More drama>
Kills more teens.
<More drama...>
Kills some more.
<*Sigh*... More drama...>
FINALLY, the people are notified that there's a killer in the building even though screams have been occurring for a long time.
Girl goes home where she and her family are heavily guarded by cops.
Man follows.
Man kills all cops but one.
Man tries to kill girl.
Last cop alive shoots man to death.
LITERALLY 10 seconds later, the credits roll.
Oh, and by the way he did all of this with a knife.
I recommend that you see this movie just so you can laugh at it. Not even a 5 year old could get scared from it.
