Author Topic: Google Sketch Up able to export .dts?  (Read 1121 times)

I have seen people use sketch up to model, but how do you export to a .dts or something?

I would also like to know this.

What you need: Sketchup Pro, MS3D.

Export to .3DS through Pro, import to MS3D, flatshade, export to .dts.

Also: should be in General Modification Help.

Google Earth 4 files can be converted to ZIP, and have a Collada file in them.

wait what?

Ya rename it with .zip on the end then get the .dae file out of it and use FBX converter (a free tool) to convert to .3ds then do the above step.

There's a .obj exporter available on the Internet (search) for the free version of Google Earth. Use that, and Blender. Totally free.
