Where are the actual dungeon interiors located?

Everyone knows how to get into the dungeons and what to do when you get in. My question is "where is the actual dungeon interior?"

When you enter the dungeons, it seems like you're teleported to some distant area of the map, but where? Are the dungeon interiors WAAAAY out on repeated terrain, in the sky, far under the waterline, or just randomly spawned somewhere on the map?

Just curious.

I think its in the sky. Because I glitched one time and fell through the floor and hit the ground.

I dont know but its the same when you teleport into the arena and shop.

The dungeons are way up in the sky. You can't see them, because they are out of the draw distance, and they have no exterior.
