Lego RCX Robots

So, I recently joined a robotics team at my school and I am currently using lego rcx robotics with pci 43 programming (I think) to run the rcx.  An tips on different commands and/or ideas for robots I could make?

I don't get my school. We have a giant pool, a brand new beautiful school. We have 6 diffrent buildings, we have AP for any class you can think of, we have 50 or so clubs, yet we don't ahve even a science club. nora  robot club, which I want greatly.

Well that stinks :/ the robot kits are expensive but if your school can afford all of that then even a couple hundred dollars on robotics kits would be quite worthwhile for the school.

Although we are competetive and use the new NXT.
So I can't really help. :/

I just started a robotics club at my school. Were going to be entering the FIRST robotics competition. It uses the LEGO NXT brain but everything else is non-LEGO.
