I never fully got math. Something about having some really stuffty physics teachers (both in high school and in university the last few years) made me brain dead when it comes to complex math stuff, like trucks with ramps on them with weight boxes attached to the top of the ramp accelerating at whatever and then asking you to measure the tension / angle of the rope.

Calculus though, that I can wrap my head around fairly easy, although I've already forgotten most of it thanks to that god awful linear algebra course I was forced to take.

That's wrong, you need to get the Angle, not the X and Y values.

Edit: Lol, since I randomly put that together, it came out weird...

Code: [Select]
7y-10=5y+58
2y-10=58
2y=68
y=34

7(34)-10
238-10
228

5(34)+58
170+58
228

180-228
-48 = <AMD

I didn't have time to plug in my values, which were correct.

You are a moron if you think you can have a negative valued angle.

Ya, I did that problem in a half a minute, then thought I was wrong when I got negative angles. I didn't know he pulled the problem out of his ass.

He did. I am pretty certain.

I think you should talk to the police about this...
i c wat u did ther

I lol'd

Since we're talking about pulling things out of asses, let's talk about Dr. Phil's advice...
Now quick!  Sin(0)

Are you kidding?

yesh.  It's not like everyone actually knows that one off the top of their head.  /sarcasm

I learned what Squeezeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Theorem is today.

I learned that yesterday!  Today we started differentiation and derivatives.

I'm in eighth grade this year, and I'm taking three ninth grade classes, which include German, Physical Science, and Honors Algebra. So far the first two have actually managed to present a slight challenge to me. However, I'm quite shocked at some of the problems on today's algebra homework. Some include:
Writing an inequality for -6 and 4,
finding the opposite of 8,
and finding the absolute value of 7.
Does this sound like ninth grade algebra?

HA, thats what im doing in Pre- Algebra in 8th Grade :O

My teacher said today that it was just review. Thank God.

I had Pre-Algebra in 6th grade

My teacher said today that it was just review. Thank God.

More like "Boooooring"

Reviewing should only be allowed for at most the first week.

Any farther than that and it's boring.

I'm saying thank God because that means it will be over soon, and for once in my life I might learn something I didn't already know in math.
