Author Topic: V10?  (Read 905 times)

did it have to be V10? couldn't it just me V9.1 or something cause V10 sounds like a whole new version with all new stuff. V9.1 sounds more fitting because V9.1 sounds like updates not a whole new version, oh well, too late now.

The logic behind the change in version numbers is to avoid confusion between the old version numbers of RTB and Blockland.  There would also be confusion once the version numbers reached 1.10 as many commonly refer to 1.01 et al as 1.1.

Prototype = v2
1.0 = 3
1.01 = 4
1.02 = 5
1.03 = 6
Now we're on 7 10

It adds many things, helps with a lot of stuff, and versions can refer to both bug fixes, general fixes, and additions.

Wtf, ladios. :/

Each update is only a "minor" update
You dont see a huge engine overhaul
In the standard numbering system we would still be in the 1s.
We are not in Blockland 2.0
the V# is to just stop handicaps' heads from exploading at the sight of a decimal point.

On the new beta gaia server, I'm a beta tester there so I can go it, its around like v2.56463, it gets old after awhile.
