How do i activate addons

I'm puting my addons in the addon folder and the still wont like activate can someone help me

To activate and deavtivate addons go to the start game menu, then there will be a button in the menu called "Add-Ons" click it and you will get a checklist of add-ons that you have downloaded. Activate them by checking them off.
