Author Topic: Hosting a server on a desktop computer.  (Read 578 times)

Okay.
I should be able to host a server easy-peasy on my desktop, (as in not a laptop or anything hooked up to a router) but I can't. Ports don't need to be opened on a regular computer, right? I can't see how it would be possible, or how to open them for that matter. Please help!

The type of computer does not matter, you still need to port forward.

How do I do that on a computer not connected to a router?

Do you not DIRRECTLY connected, or not connected as in connected directly to the modem?

It's connected to a modem.
