Forward ports on a mac?

The title tells it all, I can't forward ports, and I'm on a mac. All of the walkthroughs that I have seen so far haven't helped at all, because they would only work for windows. I have mac OS X and i do not have Leopard, but I plan to get it soon. Can I forward ports as I am now? Please tell me how. And give me realistic answers, meaning don't tell me "Get a PC" because I have no intention of doing that for blockland.

Port forwarding is really down to the router/internet connection instead of the computer.
