The mission of the World Unity Project is to collectively find out how diverse the online gaming community is, in particular Blockland. When you meet someone online you don't know their race, age, gender, or location. This creates an atmosphere where everyone starts off equal and the only judgment is passed from a persons actions. This project is to hopefully show that in an online game we can create a sanctuary where people from all over the world can meet and exchange ideas in an equal and unoppressive environment (unless you're a total idiot, in this case you are almost immediately put down).
On my server I've devised a "quilt" of countries and a giant world map. On the world map there is a tally for each continent showing how many participants live there. On each country, there is a pin for where individuals live, when the pins are activated it shows the city name and player. My hope is to create a more optimistic atmosphere for a united world. Showing how far our community branches. It is also a cool way to see who may live close to you without you even knowing!

Any participants are welcome and I encourage everyone to stop by my server and participate. If you are part of the United States, you must come to my server if you want your pin to be placed. If you are from any other country feel free to leave your Blockland name, country, and city, and a pin will be placed for you.
