Author Topic: Okay, learning Blockland scripting and have a few questions  (Read 781 times)

- Which program should I use to make models?
- What kind of scripting language is it?
- Do I need Torque Gaming Engine to script and make my models?

And that's it I guess, will add more if I figure out more questions. Yes I know there is a topic about this already, but that was becoming off-topic.

-You can use any program that can make .dts files. I'd recommend Milkshape 3D or Blender. Mind you, that's not scripting.

-Blockland uses Torquescript.

-You don't need a copy of the engine to test your scripts or make your models, no. You can use Blockland itself for messing with scripts and loading your models.

Milkshape is good if you want something easy to use and don't mind spending $35.
Blender is good if you want something free and don't mind spending a bit more time learning.
