Rotating in paint.net.

How would I rotate text about 45 degrees?  I'm making a Christmas avatar.

Highlight it and use right mouse button to rotate (After having clicked the blue arrow)
Or go into the layer menu and choose rotate. (Obviously this option will rotate the whole layer)
