How do i make a dedicated server?

I am needing help here. To make a ded. server, do u need a certain addon, or do you just name it a certain way. Im trying to make a city RP, but i dont know how to do it.

First, make sure you have the CityRP addon enabled,
Then go to your blockland folder and run Dedicated.bat

okay i did that, but then it says my ping is dead and i cant join it! is something wrong with my internet or something?

You have a dedicated server?
And running the client on the same network?

I have that problem too, for all my friend the server has ping.
But for me its just dead?
Some people say i need to check the LAN list, but there is nothing, entering the server IP wont work either.
