OK, I'm pretty new to this game, so how do you spawn weapons, like pistols and swords?

And how to spawn robots and elevators too

Place a brick and use the Wrench on it to spawn items, weapons, emitters and lights.

Vehicles can be spawned by using the Wrench on a Vehicle Spawn brick, in the Special tab.

The game does not have "robots" or "elevators" by default.

You know, not only is there a Help section on the forum, but there's also a modify button.

...YouTube, there was a video called Bots Love Elevators

That was for v8 of Blockland. Neither of the mods pictured there exist in Blockland v10.

That's really sad, but trader said he's working on it. (The elevators).
