Lul.

Oh, I got it working. Turns out, I put one thing in the wrong place and had some polarites mixed up too. But now it's working, and I'm posting from it.

Running it off of Puppy Linux 4.11, lol.

Did you still go with the crappy parts your uncle chose?

If you did, I'll sthlap you sthilly! Sthlap sthlap sthlap!

Everything was in the mail when I made the thread. That is when I found out I was getting it.

I'm not going to send everything back for a refund.

For now, I'll just stick with what I have and buy that GPU you recommended when I can.

Linux is also temporary.

I mean, I know you probably could have gotten something much, much better for the money, but it isn't like this still isn't decent. It won't explode from unreliability, either.

AARGH LINUX.

It is hell for a beginner. I can't loving get sound to go through both speakers, headphones too. stuff I download is also saving to the wrong partition and it's really loving annoying. I can't even figure out how to get WINE to work because it drags out this stuff about not being able to mount it. Also, when I look at the specs, it shows that I have an AMD Dual Core Athlon this and that, but when I benchmark it, it loving thinks its a stuffty 1.5ghz Intel that brings up inaccurate results.

Can anyone recommend where to find a copy of XP if my relatives can't supply me with a copy? I mean, holy stuff. I can't even set the calendar on this damn thing.
