Internet Connection Issues

Whenever I open up Blockland, it immediately goes to the "Checking for Blockland Update" screen, at which point it doesn't do anything. I can still close the screen, but then it doesn't verify my ID, or find any servers. Does anyone else have this problem and/or a solution?

Mine just takes longer than it normally does.

mine too, and, it stays trying to check my ID thingy to see if it works or somehing, then...it freezes.
