Author Topic: Some kinda petitiony thingy.  (Read 1259 times)

Okay, so the details came up in another topic that there is just too many noobs on this site who just don't seem to understand what it takes to begin a forum post and end up failing and flamed all over the place. I brought up the question of creating a smaller section of the forums for the newer members to remain until they understand what it takes to be a productive member of the forums.

The benefits would include a lot less 4-chan like posts, a lack of a million like topics posted by one person, ect. You get the point. So I'm making this little poll where noobs can even vote. I'd write more details but I'm sure i'd get too many tl;dr from the more lazy people here. Tell me what you think, what would be cool features of this new section. Yaddah yaddah yaddah.

tl;dr: you better read it you lazy bastards! :D That is all.

No. Let them learn on their own.

Sounds like a good idea, but Badspot will never do it.

I agree. A noob would more likely want to spam without a proper welcoming and
friendly training

But most the people who the new members think they have to please here don't even have the proper net-smarts themselves.
So its a sick cycle of the dip users treating the new users badly till they become dips themselves. And everyone is dippy and dipping on each other.
Dip.

If this topic is serious, why is it nessecary to put in handicapped poll options? It just skews the results.

You can't solve stupidity with ignorance.

So the morons will not just vote against it because they don't want to have to go through the process.
