Author Topic: Blockland dedicated server causes microphone input problems  (Read 833 times)

I'm not sure if this is because of add-ons or Blockland itself, but Ive come to the conclusion that whenever I am running a Blockland dedicated server my microphone input tends to switch to stereo mix.  Now this isn't like an option change that I can undo in my volume control options.  Regardless of my settings, the problem still occurs and is not able to be fixed.  The only way to alleviate this problem is to close all programs that use my microphone and reopen them.  It's quite frustrating as the problem occurs randomly, even within minutes of the last mic failure.

You should probably email/PM Badspot about the problem, and if he can recreate it himself then there's a good chance he'll fix it.

Though, there is the chance that it's a problem with torque itself and he can't fix it.

I don't see how this could possibly be true.

It doesn't seem logical at all, but it only happens when i have the dedicated server running.  And i've made sure of this too.

The dedicated server does not even initialize sound; let alone microphone inputs. I don't see how it could attribute to your problem.
