The timeframe of the game is your standard sword and sorcery medieval type thing but with a more modern, lighter twist. Things are a little nicer than most games. Buildings are well constructed and maintained. Nice clothes are available. High explosives have been discovered, but no one has figured out how to really make use of them. Rumor has it that wise men in other lands are working on flying contraptions (DaVinci style stuff). There is evil on the frontier, though. People fight the evil for fortune and glory. Also, sometimes people fight eachother for sport in public arenas. Also, I'm not above sight gags and popular/internet culture references for comedic effect. Basically, its the spaghetti western of RPGs.
Lemme point something out:Wise MEN in other lands are working on flying contraptions.If there are no MEN, what the hell makes you think there will be flying stuff?
