My darn linksys WRT54GS won't port forward.

I've tried portforwarding.com and badspot's tutorial, but my server still shows as dead.

Any help would be appriciated.

I use a Linksys too. I had the same problem but it turned I had not had the Enabled box checked! Make sure you have it checked. Other than that, make sure to read the instructions carefully. I myself use t he forum post here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=35187.msg533436.

I had the same exact one. Then I crashed it to get a new router and we got a Westell. My dad still doesn't know what happened.

I have the same problem, I havn't tried that post tutorial though. I also have a Westell (6100) (because I need to keep the DSL) so I have two things I need to port forward. Plus my Westell is acting handicapped also.

My friend was port forwarding from a laptop and it wouldn't work, then he went to his computer and it did. Maybe you have to use the computer attached to your modem?
